David (Dave) Bell has been the owner and Chief Technology Officer of Bell Technologies, LLC since its inception in 2010. He has been working with metering and control valve design, development and sales for more than 50 years with companies such as Marathon Pipeline Co., Explorer Pipeline Co, M & J Valve Co, Daniel Systems, Puffer-Sweiven, and Precision General. In 1970, as Project Manager for Explorer Pipeline Co., Dave was instrumental in the design and installation of the pipeline stations start-ups. Dave has 11 patents to his name for new developments in the area of flow technology and is currently a COPM member of the API.
Carol worked in the advertising, electronic and system sales departments of Daniel Industries for 15 years. She spent 5 years at Transcontinental Equipment Company and then moved into accounting/finance for Mini Base Systems. She remained for 30 years as the company evolved into Thermo Fisher Scientific. Carol began working at Bell Technologies in 2015.
Dr. Zaki Husain has more than 35 years of flow measurement and instrumentation field and design experience. He served as chairman of liquid and gas measurement standards of AP, ASME and ISO. He has also worked on GPA and AGA and has published work on flow measurement that is also referenced in the standards. Three flow meter design patents are credit to him as well as five published book chapters and many published papers. He presently teaches flow measurement classes for the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) and at PETEX through the University of Texas.
